D G Weaver Llandow are currently seeking a Valeter to work on a Self Employed basis.

Having parted ways with our previous long term supplier we are looking for an experienced Valeter.

You'll be required to clean both new and used vehicles to the standards expected by our customers. You'll need to prepare vehicles for showroom and forecourt display as well as carrying out service washes for our aftersales department.

Your day-to-day tasks:

• Using high-pressure hoses to clean vehicles
• Cleaning windows, wheels, door handles and mirrors
• Vacuuming and shampooing upholstery and carpets
• Waxing and polishing surfaces
• Collecting and delivering vehicles to parking bays.
• Driving vehicles off site when requested by line Managers
• Cleaning and maintaining the yard, ensuring that parking bays are ready for vehicle’s being returned.
• Checking in new vehicles from external garages.
• Providing the best service when speaking with external parties. Both Garages and Customers directly.

You'll need:

• A full UK driving licence - is essential due to the nature of the role.
• A methodical approach
• To be able to prioritise tasks
• A strong attention to detail
• To be able to organise your workflow
