FORD ANNOUNCE NEW RANGER PLUG-IN HYBRID TO JOIN EUROPEAN LINE UP

The first Plug-in Hybrid pick-up in Europe has been announced by Ford which will deliver uncompromised capability and great efficiency.

The All-New Ranger PHEV will combine a 2.3-litre EcoBoost engine, a 11.8-kWh battery and a 75kW electric motor. With a choice of EV driving modes so you can drive on petrol, battery power or a combination of the two. With a targeted electric-only driving range of around 27 miles, the All-New Ranger PHEV is ideal for when work takes you to the heart of the city.

Pro Power Onboard will provide an integrated mobile power source. Available as 2.3kW (10 amp) pr 6.9kW (30 amp) options. This will mean you can recharge batteries, power electric hand tools or even run appliances such as an air compressor directly from the load box.

The All-New Ford Ranger PHEV comes equipped with an arsenal of advanced technologies. From enhanced voice control, navigation and smartphone connectivity with SYNC 4, to onboard wireless device charging. Plus a host of driver assistance features, such as intelligent Adaptive Cruise Control with Lane-Keeping Aid.

We're expecting to see deliveries by the beginning of 2025.
