NEW ALL-ELECTRIC SUV ADDED TO FORD LINEUP

A reinvented Ford Explorer is being introduced to the European Ford Market later this year which has been inspired by Ford's distinct American heritage.

In terms of size on this new PV vehicle, sitting at 4.47m long, the vehicle will sit between the size of a Focus and Kuga. The vehicle will be perfect for both town and rural driving down to its small turning circle.

The vehicle has a simple line up between a choice of two trims; Select and Premium. There will be a high level of standard equipment on both models including, Heated Seats, Adaptive Cruise Control and Rear View Camera.

The Exterior of the new Explorer appears compact and dynamic. The vehicle features a bold new design language and face for Ford. The traditional grille required on Internal Combustion Engine products has been reinterpreted into a shield, giving the vehicle a modern and recognisable face with a large, new representation of the Ford Oval. This new addition to the Ford family will be available in 6 colours; Frozen White, Magnetic Grey, Absolute Black, Rapid Red, Arctic Blue (Exclusive to the Explorer) and Blue My Mind.

The inside of the Explorer also has some amazing features. The biggest standout however, is the new SYNC system, SYNC Move. The 14.6" moveable touchscreen enables access tp functional and intuitive technology through an easy-to-use interface. The moveable touchscreen offers maximum display utilisation on the large screen and Wireless Phone Mirroring that supports Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. Alongside the new SYNC technology, behind the moveable screen sits an additional hidden stowage to secure personal belongings.

Although we are awaiting a confirmation on how much this vehicle will cost in the UK, we know that in Spain, the recommended starting price is less than €45,000.
