Job description

We are currently looking for an enthusiastic service advisor to join our team here at D G Weaver Ltd. The largest Ford Retailer in South Wales. You need a clean driving license (manual and auto). We offer a secure and steady employment with Ford learning to increase you motor vehicle knowledge. We run a fast busy workshop so you will need a good positive attitude for work, and be able to work under pressure.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: £22,500.00 per year + Profitability Based Bonus Scheme

Supplemental pay types:

Experience:

  • Automotive service advisor: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

  • Manual and Automatic Clean Driving License (required)

Service Advisor duties and responsibilities

A Service Advisor handles various duties and responsibilities for our dealership and its customers. Their main role is in a customer services capacity, ensuring that the dealership’s customers are satisfied with the services they receive. Service Advisors handle responsibilities that also include:

  • Welcoming customers and explaining the services that we offer
  • Arranging and booking your customers vehicle servicing appointments via telephone and email.
  • Be able to provide updates and consultatively advice on repair work being or needing to be carried out.
  • Create customer invoices and run through the work that has been carried out on their vehicle.
  • Proactively reschedule appointments for the customer for any future vehicle maintenance or servicing.
